Job Description

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to support students both in and out of the classroom. You will help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment, providing additional support where needed to ensure students can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting students' learning and development across a range of subjects.

Assisting teachers with the preparation and delivery of lessons.

Providing one-to-one and small group support where appropriate.

Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and independence.

Supporting students with varying learning needs and abilities.

Helping to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

Assisting with classroom organisation, resources, and administrative tasks as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.

Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is patient, empathetic, and supportive.
