About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Lead Cloud Architect to design and guide the implementation of their cloud infrastructure strategies. This role is fully remote, offering the opportunity to architect and oversee cloud solutions from anywhere. You will be responsible for defining the overall cloud architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-efficiency across our client's platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architecture solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Define cloud strategy, governance policies, and best practices for the organization.
• Lead cloud migration efforts and optimize existing cloud deployments for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers and architects.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a significant focus on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing large-scale deployments on major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD principles.
• Excellent knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, crucial for a fully remote role.
