Software Developer - Cramlington - GBP £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
I have just partnered with a growing start-up based in the North East, this company's mission is to firmly establish itself as the go-to provider within their space!
Due to business growth, they're looking for a Software Developer with at least 3+ years of commercial experience with Python to join their technical team and help them migrate over to an enterprise solution from the prototype.
If you are a motivated individual who would thrive in a disruptive software house environment and is passionate about creating high-quality projects they would love to hear from you.
This role requires you to be on-site for the first few months, you will then have the opportunity to work on either a hybrid or remote basis. You will need to live and have the full right to work in the UK!
Key Skills:
Technical knowledge of - Python and Cloud-based tech (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Knowledge of MongoDB or SQL Server
Proficiency in scripting with Bash or Kerl
Minimum 2 years in commercial Development experience
Prior exposure to working on migration projects
Terraform
Bitbucket or Git
Experience working on enterprise solutions is highly beneficial
Experience building test scripts using TDD is highly beneficial
Responsibilities:
Takes a disciplined approach to software development in all stages - analysis, build, test, and support - using best practices
Develop and maintain applications using Python technologies
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Perform TDD testing to ensure quality
Ensure the applications are responsive, fast, and user-friendly
Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desired but not essential
At least 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer
Strong knowledge of Python
Have a good knowledge of responsive development
Familiarity with the Git version control system
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
