Data Architect

Job Description

Are you passionate about designing modern data architecture that enables real outcomes, improves access to data, and supports data-informed decisions? Do you enjoy making complex data landscapes simple, reliable, and secure so teams across an organisation can make better decisions with confidence? We are looking for a Data Architect to lead the design and development of our future data architecture, including scalable data models and secure integrations across internal and external data sources. The Data Architect will play a critical role in designing how our organisation accesses data and is enabled through trusted, well-structured data models. In this role, you'll be energised by:Building scalable data architecture that supports onboarding new data sources and evolving needsDesigning clear, usable data models including semantic and reporting layersCreating trusted foundations through strong data integrity, quality, and accessibilityMaking complexity simple, using documentation, data maps and data flows so others can understand and adopt your designsPractical problem-solving, diagnosing and resolving data infrastructure issues to improve availability and reliabilityYou’ll report directly to the Head of Data & Analytics and play a pivotal role in shaping how our data function operates.Proven experience designing and maintaining modern data architecture, including platforms, pipelines, and integrations that support scalable analytics and reporting use cases.Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across data, analytics, performance, infrastructure, and wider business teamsA structured, strategic mindset, with the flexibility to roll up your sleeves and deliver.Curiosity, collaboration, and a drive to create order from complexity.Turning Point is a leading health and social care social enterprise, supporting people with mental health, learning disabilities, substance use, sexual health, and employment needs.
