The programme focuses on migrating data from legacy platforms into modern, cloud-based data environments, with an emphasis on automation, scalability and secure delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and support data pipelines as part of a cloud migration initiativeBuild and maintain data processing and transformation workflows using DatabricksSupport the migration of data from legacy systems into cloud-based platformsConfigure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support data engineering workloadsUse Terraform to define and manage cloud infrastructure in a consistent, repeatable mannerWork closely with architects, project managers and delivery teams to meet programme objectivesContribute to the modernisation of ageing enterprise data platformsEnsure delivery aligns with governance, security and compliance frameworksRequired Skills & ExperienceProven commercial experience as a Data Engineer on complex data platformsStrong hands‑on Databricks experience in production environmentsDemonstrable experience delivering data migration or cloud transformation projectsExperience configuring and managing Azure DevOps pipelines for data or cloud platformsWorking knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑codeAbility to integrate quickly into established teams and deliver at paceActive SC clearance or clear eligibility to obtain SC clearanceNice to HaveExperience working on public sector or regulated programmesFamiliarity with secure, compliance-driven delivery environmentsExposure to large-scale, long-term transformation initiativesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesInformation Services
