Data Analyst

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will sit within a small finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders to manage reporting, analysis, and data processes across the business.

You will:

• Own and develop finance reporting and management information
• Support forecasting cycles and maintain large-scale financial models covering forecasts, planning, and cash flow
• Reconcile data across multiple systems, including Xero, SQL, and Power BI
• Upload, manage, and maintain finance and operational datasets
• Produce board-level reporting on financial performance, operational metrics, and contract activity
• Analyse volumes, performance trends, and operational data against forecasts and expectations
• Build new reports and dashboards while enhancing existing reporting processes
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Partner with finance, technology, and operational stakeholders to improve reporting capabilities and decision-making

Your Skills & Experience

You will have:

• Strong experience in a finance, accounting, or financial analysis role
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling and reporting
• Practical experience using SQL and Power BI for reporting and data analysis
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and performing reconciliations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive and organised approach, with the confidence to take ownership of processes and improvements

What They Offer
