This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior role with leadership responsibility and influence in a fast-paced, innovative environment.OverviewAs Engineering Team Lead, you will work closely with the Engineering Manager to lead a team of multi-skilled engineers across continental shifts. You will be responsible for prioritising maintenance support, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, and driving a proactive approach to both preventative maintenance and fault resolution.ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage the shift engineering team (including apprentices)Prioritise and coordinate response to equipment breakdowns across production linesOversee preventative maintenance schedules using CMMS systemsEnsure all documentation and compliance logs are completed to high standardsCollaborate with production and process improvement teams to optimise site performanceApply root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools such as 5 Whys and 5SQualifications / Criteria for SuccessTime-served engineering apprenticeship with HNC/HND or equivalent qualificationRecent experience in a similar role within manufacturingStrong electro-mechanical and PLC troubleshooting experienceExcellent communication, leadership, and team-building skillsFlexible, proactive, and committed to high performance standardsExperience within the food processing sector and familiarity with FMCG environments would be highly advantageous.BenefitsSubsidised canteen with free breakfast and lunch optionsCycle to work schemeDiscounted gym membershipThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of food production in Northern Ireland.
