Currently, they are embarking on a large-scale infrastructure project in the Midlands region, and are seeking an experienced and skilled Foreman / Foreperson with strong drainage experience to join their team. As a Foreman / Foreperson, you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple teams of drainage gangs, ensuring the successful execution of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee multiple teams of drainage gangs on the infrastructure project.
Coordinate and schedule daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Monitor the progress of work, ensuring quality standards and safety regulations are consistently met.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in deep drainage within the construction industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Hold valid CSCS and SMSTS qualifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of relevant health & safety regulations and procedures.
Full UK driving license.
