DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Salary: £40,000 - 48,000 per year

Requirements

  • Around 2-4 years of commercial experience
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative engineering environment

Responsibilities

  • Build and support modern cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and engineering tooling
  • Work closely with development, QA, architecture and integration teams
  • Improve automation, platform reliability, security and operational excellence
  • Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud platform solutions
  • Automate deployment, testing and operational processes
  • Manage and optimise development, test and production environments
  • Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions
  • Support incident resolution and continuous service improvement
  • Embed security and DevSecOps best practices into delivery pipelines
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery performance
