IT Infrastructure and Security Administrator - £50k - Southampton
This role is primarily about ensuring the clients systems are fully functioning, kept up to date, and secure, meeting the needs of the clients colleagues and clients. Responsibilities:
Manage SAN and Hyper-V Server clusters which host applications, including AD, web, database, and file servers
Manage Active Directory and Azure AD and assist developers in architecting Azure for future application deployment
Manage the Azure deployments and upgrade of installed applications
Manage Security around AD and Azure, including port forwarding and reverse proxying
Review internal systems and AD / Azure security
Configure and maintain firewall rules and policies to ensure network security.
Test for vulnerabilities on all infrastructure
Perform internal penetration testing, organise external testing
Skills Required:
Required - at least 5 years of hands-on experience with:
Strong Active Directory administration
Server and SAN hardware (ideally HP),
LAN hardware (switches/APs)
Corporate level firewall management.
Proficient understanding of network protocols, IP addressing, subnetting and routing protocols.
Advantageous:
Experience of managing Azure and Azure AD
Microsoft SQL Server administration
Relevant Microsoft / CompTia qualifications
Corporate level firewalls, Wireless APs, and clients
Power Automate
Software systems testing
ITIL / ISO27001
