We are recruiting for a BOM & Item Master Controller to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of BOM and Item Master data, ensuring accuracy across planning, production and procurement.

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 5:15pm

Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm

£33,000 - £38,000 per year

Roles of a BOM & Item Master Controller Create, maintain and control Bills of Materials (BOMs) within the ERP system

Maintain Item Master data including planning parameters, lead times, costing and sourcing information

Manage BOM revisions, versions, alternatives and engineering changes

Ensure data accuracy across Engineering, Production, Procurement and Finance

Support MRP planning by investigating and resolving data issues

Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in line with production schedules

Carry out data audits and continuous improvement activities

Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing data standards

Support the development of best practice for BOM and Item Master management

Requirements of a BOM & Item Master Controller Minimum of 3 years' experience within manufacturing engineering, planning or master data

Previous experience managing Bills of Materials and Item Masters within an ERP system

Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be advantageous

Strong understanding of MRP and manufacturing processes

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability

Strong communication and organisational skills
