Our client, who are of the UK’s premier residential developers, are looking to recruit a Fit Out Site Manager for their large multi-phase RC frame scheme in East London.
Reporting into a Senior Site Manager, you will be working on phase 1, which consists of 300 units over 3 blocks ranging in height from 8 to 19 storeys.
Phase 1 has completion date of 2026; the entire development has a completion date of 2032 and will have a further 4 phases to complete.
Your day-to-day duties will be to manage and oversee the specialist sub-contractors on the project and to ensure your part of the development runs to speed and programme. You will also ensure Health & Safety is adhered to as well and attend and chair progress meetings with staff and contractors, you will also submit regular reports to senior management.
The selected candidate will have a proven track record as a Fit Out Site Manager on residential developments, working directly for a developer or main contractor. Experience of working on RC frame projects, along with a construction related degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous.
The development has 9 years left until completion, so the opportunities to progress are outstanding.
