Technical and Office CoordinatorLocation - South West London£40-50kOur client is an early-stage, cleantech company formed to commercialise their novel, patented compressor technology. Their vision is to make a meaningful dent in global CO2 emissions by pioneering the electrification of industry with disruptive heat pump products.The core technology is a turbo-compressor simplified. It operates at greatly reduced speeds without oil, yielding lower manufacturing, operating and maintenance costs. They have developed a full-scale industrial heat pump pre-production product that was pilot tested at an industrial site throughout 2025. Recently Series A investment has been secured to scale the business and deliver further high temperature heat pump products to industrial end users. About the PositionWe are looking for a Technical and Office Coordinator to join our team to support engineering and business functions. Duties include project planning, logistics, supply chain management, procurement, administration, documentation, cost estimation, budget control and bookkeeping. A keen attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills are essential to the role. Previous experience working in an SME is desirable.As an early-stage company the roles are broad, will evolve as they progress from start-up to mature business, and will suit those who are flexible, creative and pro-active.Responsibilities include:Project management updating plans and task progress, monitoring deadlines and reportingPreparing and managing technical project documentation, e.g. specifications and BOMS etc.Supply chain management and procurement tasks including sourcing, RFQs and ordering etc.Tracking project costs and updating budgets. Cost estimation of products and future projects.Maintaining records, e.g. supplier audits, NCRs, HSE compliance, equipment calibrations etc.Helping to produce technical reports and presentations with the engineering teamGeneral business administration tasks including bookkeepingOffice logistics and management of services and supplies to sustain business functionsSkills and experience required:Sharp attention to detail and a meticulous nature of keeping records accurate and currentExcellent communication skills, ability to work independently and to prioritise tasks under pressureStrong organisational skills to handle several simultaneous tasks and company activitiesProficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite in particular Excel and any project management toolsExperience using Xero or similar accountancy softwareIt would be useful if you have experience or exposure to engineering software - AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksQualificationsDegree level preferred but not essential.
