Shift Maintenance Electrician

Randstad Construction & Property is collaborating with a global Facilities Management firm in their search for an experienced and time-served electrician to conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance in the Edinburgh area.
Location: Edinburgh
Competitive Salary: (up to £42,000 based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent, shift based

Daily Tasks:
Performing routine electrical tasks and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs)
Conducting emergency lighting assessments
Monitoring the Building Management System (BMS)
Identifying faults and addressing reactive work as needed
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Delivering high-quality services to customers and contract holders
Participating in the on-call rota
Desired Candidate Profile:
Possession of a valid UK driving license
Completion of a formal apprenticeship and relevant trade qualifications in electrical work
City & Guilds or equivalent certification in electrical installations or a related field
18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
Prior experience in the FM or building maintenance industry
