Conveyancing Assistant Annual Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

We are seeking an experienced and hard-working Conveyancing Assistant to join an established residential conveyancing team. The role involves a focus on high-quality work and providing an efficient service where client care is paramount.
Day-to-day of the role: Assisting an experienced fee earner with a variety of conveyancing tasks.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and the Land Registry.
Providing estimates, opening files, and carrying out online identity checks and AML assessments.
Downloading titles and submitting applications to HM Land Registry.
Preparing draft contract bundles and ordering searches.
Handling post-exchange work, dealing with completions, and post-completion tasks.
Submitting SDLT forms to HMRC and closing files efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience working in Conveyancing with a well-developed understanding of conveyancing procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant legal software.
A can-do attitude and the ability to handle a workload efficiently.
