This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is investing heavily in its data capabilities and looking to strengthen its Data Engineering function as it continues to scale.

As data becomes increasingly central to business strategy, the company is seeking an ambitious Junior Data Engineer to help develop and maintain the platforms, pipelines and integrations that underpin reporting, analytics and operational decision-making.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Python skills who is looking to build a long-term career in Data Engineering. Whether you're a Junior Developer, a technically-minded graduate or someone with around 12 months' experience working with Python and APIs, this position provides the chance to gain hands-on exposure to cloud technologies, data platforms and modern engineering practices within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As Junior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of the organisation's data platform, helping to ensure data is accessible, reliable and fit for purpose across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining Python-based integrations between internal and external systems.
• Developing, testing and supporting ETL and data transformation processes.
• Working with APIs to ingest and process data from multiple sources.
• Maintaining and enhancing data pipelines within the Azure environment.
• Writing and optimising SQL queries to support reporting and operational requirements.
• Monitoring data processes, identifying issues and implementing fixes where required.
• Supporting data quality, governance and security initiatives.
