TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in the Kirkby area. The nursery provides care to over 70 children daily. The staff are thoroughly trained in the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding, to provide the best support available whilst in their care. The setting provides various learning opportunities for the children to focus on their interests and develop skills such as cognitive and motor skills.
The nursery is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join their team. To start, this will be on a day to day basis, with the potential of securing a longer term placement, and even a permanent role. You will experience all rooms within the nursery, working with children of 6 months to 5 years old. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about learning within the early years and flexible in their approaches to learning.
As an Early Years Assistant, you will:
- Be eager to learn and gain knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Sector
- Be open to doing training to expand all skills and knowledge on the job
- Have a caring and positive approach to working in the early years
