Driver Hire Southampton are recruiting for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join an established agricultural supplies business in Stockbridge .

The Role

The role will initially focus on picking customer orders , with a new computer system being introduced later in the year, which you will be trained to use.
Duties will include:
Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
Preparing orders for dispatch
Moving and organising stock within the warehouse
Checking stock and ensuring orders are correct
Loading vehicles for delivery
General warehouse duties
Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised
Following all health and safety procedures
Working as part of the team to meet daily requirements
Learning and using the company's new warehouse computer system when it is introduced later in the year
Carrying out relevant computer/system input as required
Supporting the wider warehouse operation when required
Carrying out customer deliveries when required
Providing holiday cover for drivers during the quieter periods of January-March and October-December
A full UK driving licence is essential , as driving and delivery work will form part of the role.

What We're Looking For

Previous warehouse experience preferred
Reliable, hardworking and organised
Good attention to detail
Full UK driving licence
Must be over 25 due to insurance requirements
Counterbalance, Reach Truck or Order Picker licences are preferred but not essential
Training for these licences will be provided to the right candidate once permanent

£28,000-£30,000 per year
£50 weekly KPI bonus
GBS bonus based on length of service and daily rate
Uniform and safety boots once permanent
