The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting of financial results, budgets, and estimates to the UK Finance Director/Board and Group, Possessing comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts & commentary
Financial Reporting
Assistance with Budgets and Forecasts
Reviewing control account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
Efficient management of fixed assets and VAT processes
Financial Analysis
Project Support
Supervision and support for the transactional finance team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Strong grasp of financial principles and reporting standards (IFRS)
Optimising financial performance and ensuring regulatory compliance
Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA trainee
1-2 years of relevant experience in either practice or industry
Strong Excel skills and ideally Power BI
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Location and Benefits: This role is situated in Birmingham, offering hybrid working arrangements with three days per week on-site. The position comes with a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000 + study support for professional qualifications.
