Experience working in a school setting is essential

DBS on the Update Service  (or willingness to obtain one)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you may be expected to:

Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities

Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce learning

Assist with behaviour management and ensure a positive learning environment

Prepare learning materials and resources as directed by the teacher

Support children with additional needs, providing individualised assistance

Help with classroom organisation, displays, and tidying

Supervise pupils during breaks, transitions, or off-site activities

Provide pastoral support to pupils and help encourage positive social skills

Follow safeguarding procedures and uphold school policies at all times
