The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing industrial business based in North Glasgow .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a Monday to Friday days-based position , offering a salary of up to £50,000 , alongside excellent opportunities for technical development and long-term career progression.

Working within a fast-paced industrial environment, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of automated production machinery and equipment. The role will involve a combination of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, electrical and mechanical fault finding, breakdown response and continuous improvement .

The successful engineer will be genuinely multi-skilled , with the confidence and ability to work across both electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance ( PPM ) across production machinery and site equipment.

Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns to minimise production downtime.

Conduct both electrical and mechanical fault finding, maintenance and repairs .

Diagnose faults across automated production machinery and control systems.

Maintain equipment including motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, drives, sensors, pumps and pneumatic systems .

Carry out electrical fault finding across motors, sensors, control panels and associated equipment.

Identify recurring equipment faults and support root cause analysis.

Complete mechanical repairs and component replacements.

Support machinery installations, modifications and engineering improvement projects.
