An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an international supply chain and distribution business supporting a busy 24/7 operation.
We are looking for an IT Support Analyst to provide hands-on IT and infrastructure support across the business while also helping to develop and maintain the company's data reporting and systems integration capabilities.
This is a varied role combining day-to-day IT support, infrastructure, data reporting and systems integration. It would suit someone who enjoys solving technical problems and supporting users in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first and second-line IT support to users across a 24/7 supply chain operation.
Provide general IT infrastructure support across desktops, servers, networks, hardware, software and associated systems.
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot IT systems and infrastructure to help ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
Install, configure and support IT equipment, applications and user access.
Develop, maintain and enhance business reports and data analysis using SQL and SSRS.
Support EDI systems and data integration with customers and third-party systems.
Assist with system testing, upgrades, infrastructure changes and wider IT projects.
Produce and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology, systems and reporting.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an IT Support, IT Analyst or similar technical support role.
Strong SQL and database interrogation skills.
Experience developing reports and analysing business data.
Knowledge of SSRS, VB.NET, EDI and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) would be advantageous.
Good general knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software and networking.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
