Job Title: Robotics & Controls Engineer Location: Cheltenham Salary: £60,000- £80,000 (dependent on experience) A long-established and respected UK-based engineering business is expanding its team due to continued growth and increasing demand. Responsibilities Designing and programming PLC, HMI/touchscreen, network and SCADA systems from scratch Designing, programming and integrating industrial robotic solutions (FANUC ideally but not essential) Work collaboratively on bespoke automation and robotic integration projects. Developing control architectures and functional solutions in collaboration with mechanical and electrical design teams Perform in-house build and test activities, with periodic travel for commissioning and support (UK & North America). Engage fully in a supportive, high-functioning team environment with a strong 'make it happen' mindset.

Robotics & Controls Engineer Requirements

Be able to write complex software from scratch for Allen Bradley Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal. Be able design/ programme/ integrate industrial robotic solutions, such as and ideally FANUC Comfortable with factory-based work - must live within a realistic commuting distance of Gloucestershire. Industrial control systems and networks, including EtherNet/IP and PROFINET Valid British or EU passport - able to travel freely to the USA/Canada. Willing and able to travel internationally for short stints (up to two weeks at a time) as needed per project.
