Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Overview

Booth Welsh has an opportunity for 2 Electrical Engineers to work on a client site in North Ayrshire. The project is expected to last until the end of the year, with potential to extend.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment specification verification checks for equipment installed within zoned areas (in review of HAC drawings)
  • HAZI Route preparations
  • Static Earthing / Bonding checks (as per process safety standards)
  • Preparing of Electrical Work Specifications and Test Specifications
  • Kelton Maintenance Manager database update support (in relation to all E&I equipment installed in Hazardous areas)

Qualifications / Requirements

  • COMPEX 12 trained personnel (desirable)
  • Knowledge/understanding of Process Safety Standards / Electrical compliance.
  • SAP trained (Maintenance transactions).
  • Electrical maintenance and project experience.

Additional Information

  • The IER / Maintenance work scope of electrical requirements has already been identified and defined for the project.
  • The candidates will form part of a project IER / Maintenance Team and will be required to work with project Electrical design to arrange maintenance strategies of the Electrical work-streams within SAP.
  • Minimum duration of works at present is circa 8 months, potentially longer.
  • Working on site is required.
