Financial Controller

We are working with a rapidly growing property development and investment group, the business is backed by substantial financial resources and a well‑established family office, providing a strong platform for continued growth.As the business continues to scale, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Financial Controller who can take ownership of the finance function and develop into the group's Finance Director.The OpportunityThis is a genuinely broad and hands‑on opportunity. You will be responsible for managing the day‑to‑day finance function while also acting as a key point of contact for investors, lenders and other senior stakeholders.The successful candidate will be expected to get involved, take ownership and become a key member of the senior management team.Responsibilities will include:Taking overall responsibility for the finance functionPreparing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flow projectionsLeading cash flow forecasting across a growing portfolio of developmentsManaging financial reporting across multiple SPVsOverseeing group consolidation and reportingManaging relationships with banks, lenders, investors and other external stakeholdersUnderstanding and managing debt facilities and lender requirementsSupporting funding proposals and development financeWorking closely with the development and senior management teamsImproving financial processes, controls and reporting as the group scalesManaging and developing a finance teamSupporting the long‑term strategy around holding assets and ultimately selling to pension and investment fundsThis role would suit a highly motivated and ambitious qualified accountant from industry or practice who is looking to fast track into an Financial Director role.
