The roleAs a Quality Practitioner, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is an opportunity to contribute to the quality of a large defence company whist gaining on the job experience whilst completing a quality apprenticeship.
Day-to-day, you'll provide support and guidance to the business to achieve excellence to our customers, through right first time delivery of projects.
You'll also:
Comply with the organisation's quality policies, plans and procedures
Undertake internal surveillance and spot audits on the production facility to ensure compliant product and compliance
Formally review and approve activities, work or documentation, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory, policy and procedural obligations including documentation pack sign off and product verification
Monitor performance against departmental or organisational goals and use appropriate tools and techniques to drive improvement
Provide the business with regular updates on planned workload and targets, taking accountability and responsibility whilst creating a common purpose within and across the team
Demonstrate a positive safety culture ensuring compliance to the company procedures and awareness of potential hazards
This role is full time, 37-hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with two days in the office/onsite and three days working from home.
Essential experience of the Quality Practitioner
A self-starter, who is performance driven with a desire to make significant contribution/impact
Ability to work independently once clear direction is provided
Ability to learn new skills/techniques, keep accurate records and follow instructions
Conscientious person looking to work efficiently and to a high standard
Good understanding of IT office systems (word, excel, outlook, power point)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Qualifications for the Quality Practitioner
Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
