Collateral Management Analyst

The primary purpose of the Collateral Management Analyst role is the execution of Collateral Management functions within the Collateral Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the collateralisation of several products including, but not limited to; Derivatives, FX, Repo and Commodities.

Description
Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Seeking efficient solutions to the tasks performed by the team
Ensuring adherence to all relevant Bank standards and policies.
Ensuring that the service provided by Collateral Management to internal and external clients is delivered to an excellent standard.
Ensuring that Collateral Management works collaboratively and effectively with other Operations teams in all global locations to enable excellent service to be delivered by the Operations department to internal and external clients.
Working collaboratively with Technology colleagues to ensure that systems relied on by Collateral Management are fit for purpose and where enhancements are required they are ratified and appropriately prioritised.
Ensuring understanding of the CASS sourcebook to the extent that it impacts Collateral Management (in particular CASS 3). Ensuring that all procedures are adequate for processes impacting CASS, procedures are followed within the team and escalation processes are followed on a timely basis.
Working collaboratively with Operations Control on risk management and control enhancements (but without over-reliance on Operations Control).
Profile
A successful Collateral Management Analyst should have:
Experience required to successfully perform the role:
Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services
Experience within a collateral management function preferred
Knowledge, technical skills and expertise:
Business knowledge - Understanding of the Uncleared Swap Margin rules preferred
Understanding of FCA rules and regulations or equivalent
