An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their Embedded Development team, by bringing in an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of innovate systems and software used within the manufacturing sector.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be joining an established team that develop reliable, well-documented, and supportable systems. You will have a support network of Engineers that you can learn from and help you progress your career and technical skill set.

This role will be based on-site near Chesterfield to encourage collaboration and in-person interactions.

Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and support embedded software
System Testing
Support Firmware updates
New Product Development
Product maintenance and improvement
Produce and maintain clear technical documentation

Requirements:
Proven experience in embedded or systems software development
Experience programming with C, C++, or similar low-level languages
Microcontrollers
Embedded systems and hardware knowledge
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Desirable Linux, control systems, Real Time Operating Systems, Testing, communication protocols

Effectively, this role is responsible for contributing to the design and support of world-class products alongside the relevant teams. The business offers comprehensive on-the-job training and continuous professional development.
