The company have rapidly grown over the last few years, this role is a pivotal role where you will be ensuring the highest standards of quality in operations. You will be monitoring inbound goods and components as well as overseeing the in-process quality control of assembles, you’ll be using state-of-the-art metrology equipment to uphold standards. The role will involve regular contact with customers and other team members, we are looking for a confident individual who can adhere to instruction, policies, protocols and other provisions of the quality management system of the business, whilst ensuring that proper recordkeeping is maintained. Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Quality Control Inspector you will be responsible for: Conducting detailed inspections of machined components and assemblies to ensure they meet specified standards.
Documenting inspection results and maintaining detailed records of all quality checks.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality concerns or deviations from established standards.
Participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
Handling measurement samples for storage and archiving.
Ensuring that measurement equipment is maintained and within calibration.
Skills & experience required. Experience in a Quality Control role within the automotive industry
Must be able to use engineering measuring tools, including verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMM and FARO arm amongst others.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic engineering/ manufacturing background
Excellent attention to detail
