We are looking for an established Cleaning Supervisor/Janitor to have direct responsibility for the commercial cleaning across this public sector contract.
You will supervise a small team of commercial cleaning staff across multiple sites located in South Birmingham. This is a very established friendly and hardworking team who require guidance and support to ensure safe and effective cleaning delivery.
Duties will include;
Supervision and leadership for a small team of cleaning team members
Monitoring Cleaning compliance and standards
Manage COSHH
Monitor cleaning health & safety
Manage cleaning/staffing rota's
Scheduled and emergency cleans
Periodic cleans
Manage/order consumables stock
Training and tool box talks
Highlight contract issues
Support and develop the team
Liaise with and support the client with issues/resolutionsCandidates with public sector commercial experience would also be welcome (experience within educational/school or healthcare/hospital sites would be advantageous).
