Operations Manager

Job Description

This is a fantastic new opportunity for a culinary focussed Operations Manager to play a key role in a unique Founder-led business, which is ready for its next stage of expansion.

As Operations Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the safe, compliant, profitable, and on-time delivery of quality food for a variety of clients.

You will own operational responsibility end-to-end-managing people, processes, suppliers, compliance, and cost-while building systems to support rapid growth.

Package: £65,000-£70,000 per annum

Location: North London

Hours: 48 hours per week (with rota flexibility)

The Person

  • Proven operations, production, or general management experience in food production, contract catering, hospitality, or a time-critical, regulated environment.
  • An inspiring leader who will line-manage, train, and develop the kitchen, packing, and delivery team while optimizing staff rotas and controlling labour costs.
  • Financial awareness with experience managing budgets, margins, stock, and purchasing.
  • Highly organized, calm under pressure, and confident dealing directly with clients.
  • Systems-minded professional able to establish SOPs, implement digital operational tools, and track KPIs.
  • Level 3 Food Safety minimum.
  • A holder of a full UK driving licence would be needed.
