Van Driver

This one is for the early risers! Our client is seeking a Van Driver to join their transport team on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very stable business in the local area and to be a key part of their transport team.

The standard working hours are 4.30am to 1pm, Monday to Friday. However, due to varying delivery schedules and customer requirements, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required, which may mean working up to 5pm on occasion. Overtime is paid for any additional hours worked.

This is a permanent position with salary paid monthly. Progression and development are supported and encouraged.

As a Van Driver you will be responsible for ensuring that products are delivered within delegated timeframes and in line with internal requirements. You'll be responsible for loading, transporting and unloading goods, carrying out vehicle checks and providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.

Routes cover areas including London, Essex, the West Midlands and surrounding regions, with occasional longer-distance deliveries depending on customer requirements. You'll typically complete 10-12 drops per day, working closely with Warehouse, Customer Support and Logistics teams to ensure a first-class delivery service.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver customer orders safely, accurately and on time across the UK.

Load, transport and unload products in line with company procedures.

Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.

Complete delivery paperwork and transport records accurately.

Ensure compliance with driving legislation and Health & Safety requirements.</span...
