Key Requirements:

Previous experience working with children is essential.

A valid DBS check on the update service is a must.

Experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is required.

A compassionate and patient attitude towards students' learning and development.

Responsibilities:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Individualised Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs.

Classroom Assistance: Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive classroom environment, assisting in the delivery of lessons.

Resource Preparation: Prepare and adapt learning materials to cater to the individual needs of students with SEND.

Behavioural Support: Work closely with the school's SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to implement strategies for managing challenging behaviours.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and record students' progress, communicating effectively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.

Remuneration:
