At our Vans Direct - Newport site,we are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our team! We are offering a £50,000 basic salary with an OTE of £70,000 plus company car and company benefits.

Role purpose:

To lead the Vansdirect sales team, driving profitable vehicle leasing, maintenance and finance sales while ensuring strong customer service, compliance and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Sales Executive team.
• Deliver sales, revenue, margin, conversion and customer retention targets.
• Monitor individual and team performance against agreed KPIs.
• Ensure enquiries, quotes and follow-ups are handled quickly and professionally.
• Support the team with complex quotes, customer objections and escalations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, CRM use, administration and compliance.
• Work with procurement, operations, customer service, sales support and marketing to improve performance.
• Review cancellations, lost sales and renewals to reduce risk and improve results.

Skills And Experience

• Experience managing a target-driven sales team.
• Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills.
• Good knowledge of vehicle leasing, finance products and commercial vehicles.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.
• Confident using CRM systems, reporting tools and working to FCA, GDPR and company standards.
