This is a great career move for a graduate with 1-2 years of B2B Sales experience in recruitment consultancy, media sales, IT sales or similar and looking to move into a B2B Sponsorship Sales role in a Global Conference and Exhibitions company.

Our client is an internationally established B2B media and events company that creates and delivers conferences and exhibitions. They are not an agency and don’t produce events for other companies.

They are hiring a Sponsorship Sales Executive for the events team that produces and delivers Tech conferences & exhibitions. In this role, you will be selling high value sponsorship solutions to blue chip companies. You will be working on European and/or US based events.

This role will be a mix of new and warm business. We’re looking for a Sales professional who can engage and make connections with clients, understand their needs and provide them with the best solutions. The sales team build long term client relationships and grow spend with clients year on year whilst securing new companies to sponsor events.

This is a solutions led, consultative sales role.

What will you be doing?

Selling high value sponsorship and marketing solutions to new and existing blue chip clients.

Communicating and negotiating confidently and successfully with senior decision makers over the phone and face to face.

Working with the wider events team to launch exciting new projects and formats

Research new prospects, follow-up on leads and data shared by the marketing and content team and utilise the database (Salesforce) to identify lapsed clients.

Manage your sales pipeline and keep the database updated.

Working to agreed targets for each event.

Attending your events, competitor events and client meetings - travel is required.

Who are you?

Graduate with 1-2 years of b2b sales experience for example; Recruitment, Media Sales, Tech solutions sales.

An excellent communicator who is confident talking and presenting to peers and senior decision makers over the phone and in-person. Ability to make connections and engage with clients.

Persuade and influence decision makers

Excellent research and writing skills

Able to manage the responsibility of meeting targets and deadlines and managing your time effectively

Attention to detail and organised

Positive, enthusiastic and ambitious sales professional

Confident using IT including such as Teams, Microsoft and CRM
