Location : Mayfair, Exclusive Private Members Club
Salary: £45,000 - £49,000 per annum plus benefits
Shifts: 2 double (9am-11pm) and 3 single (9am-4pm) closed Sundays
The Sous Chef will help delight their customers with exceptional desserts in their exclusive private members club consisting of two small restaurants.
Managing a team of 2 Chef de Parties - you must be self-sufficient, a good team leader, team player and work to high standards.
The ideal Sous Chef will possess the following skills and experience:
Currently or have worked as a Sous Chef in a pastry environment, fine dining and/or 5* hotel
A passion for using the very best quality produce in the kitchen
An eye for details overseeing your own work and the work others, always eager to help with a positive problem-solving approach
Able to manage a small team and delegate when necessary
Creative as well as happy to comply with requirements
Strong passion and experience with fine dining
Strong food/product knowledge with the ability to appreciate the finer aspects of pastry
