Loughborough / Global
We’re looking for a full-stack developer to take the lead on the technical delivery, integration, and ongoing development of our web app platform.
Multi-Medix is redefining ultrasound testing through innovation. We’ve launched a web-based application that transforms how hospitals test, manage, and assure ultrasound systems, improving reliability, efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
This project is an innovative spin-off from within a wider group that includes Modality Group Ltd, giving it the backing, stability, and expertise of an established healthcare organisation, while maintaining the agility and energy of a startup.
We’re on a mission to set a new global standard in ultrasound performance testing and quality assurance. By working with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the NHS, we have produced a solution that is now looking to go global.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’ve tried working remotely in a task‑driven role before and realised that you miss the energy of working with people, solving real‑world problems, and seeing your work make an impact.
You’ll enjoy the variety that comes with a small, dynamic team: one day coding or debugging a deployment issue, the next day working on new features or system architecture design. You will sit next to experienced business leaders and young innovators, as we continue to roll out this first product and develop subsequent ones.
If you love rolling up your sleeves, wearing multiple hats, and want to be part of something that’s set to transform ultrasound testing worldwide, this is your chance.
1. Develop and improve features on our React, php and Laravel based web and mobile application based on user feedback.
2. Collaborate with developers, users and ultrasound physicists to improve user experience.
3. Contribute to software design decisions and long-term system architecture planning.
4. Manage and maintain an EC2 instance in AWS.
4. Maintain robust testing, documentation, and version control processes.
5. Help define and maintain good practices in cybersecurity, data storage, and server management.
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical confidence and a desire for innovation.
You’ll thrive here if you:
NB: Salary may be adjusted for experience in the following areas:
3. Experience with php, React, Laravel and cloud/server management.
4. Basic Python skills
5.Some industry experience via work or placement.
1. Experience with AWS EC2 instances
2. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
3. Familiarity docker deployments.
4. Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
