Job Description

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Join a growing manufacturing business that is investing in its people, technology, and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining production performance, improving reliability, and driving continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing site.

Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, using your electrical and fault-finding expertise to minimise downtime and maximise performance.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and completing effective repairs.
  • Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across safety, processes, and technology.
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the Shire CMMS system.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
  • Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • PLC fault-finding and diagnostic experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive approach with excellent communication skills

Desirable
  • Experience within FMCG, timber, woodworking, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.

Shift Patterns

Main Site (Rotating)

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm - 11:00pm
