Job Description THE FIRM
Our client is a market-leading investment group, specialising in renewable energies. Their impressive portfolio consists of over 1.2 GW of solar PV projects in operation / under-construction, and they are looking to enter further European markets, as well as diversify their asset coverage. With this, they are seeking a dynamic Director to join their London office.
THE ROLE
As a Director, you'll also be expected to:
Independently leading and coordinating the transaction execution for Debt Financings (senior, junior, unitranche)
Leading negotiations with banks, institutional investors and infrastructure debt funds
Coordinating and liaising with all involved internal and external due diligence parties across different jurisdictions
Coordinating the development of complex cashflow based financial models and performing debt sizing
Support origination efforts within the team
THE CANDIDATE
The candidate must satisfy the below requirements:
10+ years of relevant experience from an IPP, infrastructure debt fund, project finance bank, debt advisory or private equity fund
Excellent knowledge of the renewable energy space
Strong track record of negotiating and executing transactions ideally some in Junior credit
Robust technical foundation
Proactive, high energy, self-confident and entrepreneurial mindset
