You'll be working on modernising platforms using Spring Boot and microservices architecture, deploying into cloud environments (AWS), and contributing to best-in-class engineering practices.This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-impact systems within a collaborative Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Java-based microservices using JDK 11+ and Spring BootDesign and build modular, scalable, and maintainable applicationsWork with enterprise middleware including WebLogic Server and CAS SDKCollaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to deploy solutions into AWSContribute to containerised deployments(Docker/Kubernetes)Promote engineering best practices including:Test Driven Development (TDD)Continuous Integration / Continuous TestingCoding standards & branching strategiesSupport system design by helping decompose monolithic systems into microservicesPartner with QA teams to ensure both functional and non-functional testingActively participate in Agile Scrum ceremoniesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong hands‑on experience with Java (JDK 11+)Proven development experience using Spring BootExperience building and integrating microservices architecturesFamiliarity with AWS cloud servicesExperience with enterprise middleware (WebLogic, CAS or similar)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesDesirable SkillsExperience with Docker / KubernetesExposure to API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, CAS)Experience working in large enterprise environmentsKnowledge of test automation frameworksWhat You'll GetOpportunity to work on large-scale, modernisation projectsCollaborative and forward-thinking engineering cultureExposure to cutting-edge cloud and microservices technologiesLong-term contract with potential extensions
