The Role

As a Data Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining the company's data platform, ensuring business-critical data is accurate, accessible and trusted. Working within a collaborative technology team, you'll help deliver data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decisions across the business.

You'll work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, contributing to data engineering, reporting, analytics and data quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance data pipelines and data models

Build and optimise SQL-based transformations and reporting datasets

Write complex SQL queries to answer business-critical questions

Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights

Monitor and improve data quality across the organisation

Maintain technical documentation and data definitions

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions

Required Skills & Experience

Strong SQL skills

Experience working with relational databases and structured datasets

Previous experience in a data-focused role involving data transformation, analysis or engineering

Experience using Git/version control

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users

Self-motivated with a proactive and commercially-minded approach
