Sous Chef

Change Hospitality are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic, food-led pub, looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.
This is a busy, high-quality operation with a real focus on bold, seasonal cooking, great produce and proper hospitality. Theyre looking for a chef who genuinely cares about what goes on the plate and wants to be part of a kitchen with personality, high standards and a strong team culture.

The role As Sous Chef, youll work closely with the Head Chef to help run the kitchen, lead service and support the wider team.
Youll be:
Leading your section during busy services
Supporting and developing junior chefs
Maintaining consistently high standards across prep and service
Contributing ideas to menus, specials and new dishes
Supporting with stock management, GP and kitchen organisation
Helping to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently
What theyre looking for This role would suit a strong Chef de Partie looking to step up , or an experienced Junior Sous Chef ready for their next challenge.
Youll need:
Solid experience in a fresh-food, quality-led kitchen
Confidence running a section during busy services
Good organisation and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A genuine passion for food and attention to detail
Strong leadership and communication skills
A team-first attitude no egos, no drama
