CMM Programmer

Job Description

Job Title: CMM Programmer

Location:Northampton

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

About the Company:

Be a part of a dynamic team working within a modern manufacturing environment, producing cutting-edge components. You'll be quality checking components which are supplied into various sectors including motorsport, automotive and aerospace.

The Role:

  • Programming CMMs using Zeiss software, developing and proving out measurement systems and programs. You will phase into using Calypso software from MCOSMOS.
  • Collaborating closely with production to resolve technical issues.
  • Using various hand inspection tools and equipment to ensure component quality.
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
  • Supporting ongoing improvement initiatives within the production and quality teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in programming CMMs using Zeiss or Mcosmossoftware.
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • An engineering qualification, ideally with a mechanical bias, is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with production teams.
