The Role

As a Principal Angular Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of highly complex solutions, acting as a technical authority within the engineering team. You'll challenge the status quo, champion best practice, and help define the future direction of front-end development.

Working closely with architects, product teams, and senior engineering stakeholders, you'll lead technical decision-making, improve system quality, and drive the adoption of modern engineering standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of complex frontend solutions.

Drive Angular best practices, code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

Champion technical modernisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Influence architecture and design decisions across multiple teams.

Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and dependencies.

Mentor engineers and elevate technical capability across the organisation.

Ensure security, performance, and reliability are embedded within all solutions.

Contribute to architectural governance, standards, and engineering strategy.

You'll be a highly experienced frontend engineer with deep Angular expertise and a passion for building robust, scalable applications.

Essential Skills

Expert knowledge of Angular and modern frontend architecture.

Strong experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.

Deep understanding of Angular design principles and best practices.

Experience with Angular CLI, Nx, Webpack and associated tooling.
