Cover Supervisors to join vibrant secondary schools across the

Southampton area. This is your chance to make a real impact on student's learning journeys while building the confidence and experience needed for a successful career in education.

What we offer

Work-Life Balance: Fixed school hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Term time only).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise secondary school students (Key Stages 3 & 4) across various subjects during teacher absences.
  • Maintain a positive, orderly, and productive classroom environment where students feel supported.
  • Deliver prepared work set by the department and ensure students stay on task.
  • Collect completed work and provide constructive feedback on student progress and behaviour.
  • Uphold school policies regarding behaviour management and safeguarding at all times.

Qualifications

Education: Degree level or higher education qualification. Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply!

Experience: Practical experience working with young people, such as tutoring, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or volunteering.

Skills: Confidence, strong communication abilities, resilience, and a positive, proactive attitude.

Requirements: An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for a new one).
