Data Solution Architect

Location: Reading or Dublin (Hybrid Basis)Job Type: Inside IR35 Day RateWe're looking for an experienced Data Solutions Architect to play a key role in delivering data and analytics solutions across a major business transformation programme.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in data architecture, integration, analytics, and large-scale technology delivery, who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation while driving successful project outcomes.What you'll be doingLeading the end-to-end technical delivery of Data & Analytics products and services across strategic programmes and projectsCollaborating with Data Architecture, Data & Analytics teams, project stakeholders and third-party vendors to deliver scalable data solutionsGathering, validating and translating business data and reporting requirements into technical solutionsDefining solution architectures, data models, integration frameworks and ETL requirementsProducing and presenting solution blueprints, technical designs and key decision documents (KDDs) to Architecture Governance forumsEnsuring solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, governance standards and broader IT objectivesManaging technical risks, dependencies, assumptions and issues while driving mitigation plans through to resolutionSupporting programme planning, resource allocation and capacity management across technical delivery teamsDriving stakeholder engagement and influencing adoption of data and analytics products and services across the businessMonitoring delivery quality and ensuring projects adhere to agile methodologies and technology best practicesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Data Solutions Architect, Data Architect, or Technical Architect delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutionsStrong expertise in data architecture, data modelling, ETL processes, system integration and analytics platformsExperience translating complex business and reporting requirements into scalable technical solutionsDemonstrable experience governing technical design, architecture standards and delivery quality across programmesStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience managing technical risks, dependencies and delivery challenges across multiple workstreamsExposure to modern data and analytics technologies, cloud platforms and enterprise integration frameworksPrevious experience working with external vendors, delivery partners and cross-functional teamsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline10+ years' experience in data, analytics or architecture roles, including leadership and team management experienceWhy apply?This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-profile transformation programme where you'll shape the future of the organisation's data and analytics landscape, working with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative, business-critical solutions.
