CNC Programmer (Progression to Technical Sales Engineer) £45,000-£55,000 + Progression + Training + Company Vehicle (+ Personal Use) + Company Benefits Hybrid - Peterborough, with some regional travel and WFH Are you a CNC Programmer or Machinist looking to move off the tools into an exciting, Technical Sales role where you will be the go-to person for client relations on bespoke machine tooling projects within a well-established, specialist manufacturer offering a range of ongoing progression opportunities? This company are a well-established provider of bespoke Preicsion Engineering solutions to a range of key industries including Aerospace, Motorsport and Energy with over 50 years experience. They have built a loyal client base due to their first rate service, and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team of 25. In this varied role you will receive initial sales training from senior team members to further your commercial skillset. Following this you will then be the go-to person working closely with clients to understand their requirements, make suggestions on plans for projects and provide quotations for work. You will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle as you liaise with different departments, undertake regular client visitation and win some business through cold calling and re-introductory outreach . This dynamic role would suit someone from a CNC Machining background looking for a unique opportunity to progress into an autonomous technical sales role within a well-established company known for looking after their staff who work with a varied and cutting-edge client base.
