Job Description

Join a leading wireless communications company – London, Hybrid Working Model

This established engineering business is developing advanced 5G and mission-critical communications systems, delivering high-performance software solutions for global connectivity. The team are now looking for a Wireless Software Engineer (5G) to support the development of protocol stack software across next-generation wireless platforms.

You’ll work on low-level through to higher-layer protocol development (L1–L4), contributing to the design, implementation and optimisation of 5G communication systems.

For this Wireless Software Engineer (5G) role, we are looking for someone with:

Strong experience developing software in C/C++

Experience working on wireless protocol stacks (L1–L4)

Understanding of 3GPP 4G/5G standards

Experience with real-time or embedded systems

Knowledge of Linux-based development environments

Ideally, exposure to PHY layer, MAC or higher-layer protocol development
