Workshop Controller

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Workshop Controller to join our reputable client’s established dealership in Southend, Essex. Competitive basic salary of £38,000 per annum

OTE of up to £55,000 with achievable performance bonuses

Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Saturdays on a 1-in-3 rota, 8:30 am to 1:00 pm

Opportunity to make a significant impact within the dealershipDuties of the Workshop Controller:

Oversee a team of 19 technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity

Manage workshop operations to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction

Organise daily work schedules and allocate tasks to technicians

Ensure workshop targets and KPIs are achieved or exceeded

Liaise with reception and service advisors to provide accurate customer updates and technical explanations

Maintain high standards of workshop organisation, safety, and qualityRequirements of the Workshop Controller:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within a dealership or automotive workshop

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Automotive technical knowledge and understanding of workshop processes
