Engineering TechnicianOur client, a successful and dynamic Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company, is currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position, working in Great Yarmouth on the below shift pattern.Week oneMonday to Thursday 6am to 2pm Friday 6am to 1pm Week twoMonday to Thursday 1.45pm to 10pm Friday 12.45pm to 6.45pmKey attributes/skills:Ability to work safely and in a controlled manner.Experience in an FMCG or pharmaceutical environment working with packaging and manufacturing equipment.Ability to follow instructions with accuracy.Experience of mechanical engineering and packaging equipment.Competent computer user with experience of Microsoft software packages.Determination to provide a high degree of customer service to the production teams.Self-motivated with a proactive can do attitude.Team focused and a good communicator.NVQ (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experienceKey Responsibilities:Filling and packaging equipment set-up/change-overs.Working in a clean manufacturing environment where the highest quality standards are observed.Work as part of the Engineering team to ensure production plan adherence.Responding to line running issues.Equipment disassembly, assembly and parts cleaning.Ensuring all auditable paperwork is completed correctly.Ensuring the correct storage of all machine change parts.Ensuring adherence to weekly production plans.Benefits:Competitive salary, salary reviewed annually with an annual bonus payable in May depending on Company performanceHoliday is 25 days less 4 to cover Christmas closure plus bank holidaysPension offered at 5%, increasing to 6% after 5 years service, this is offered on a matched / salary exchange basis.Life Assurance, payable at 4 times basic salaryAXA PPP private health offered after a qualifying period.Free lunch offered daily, plus tea / coffee etcFree onsite parkingFor further details of this exciting opportunity please forward a copy of your CV today!Todd Hayes Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
